Biblical Milf, a moving exhibition from Daylight (Glasnevin, Dublin) to Lucky’s (Meath Street, Dublin)
Daylight: 30th October 2024
Lucky’s: 14th November - 14th January
BIBLICAL MILF looks lovingly at the characters found around us and inside of our phones.
Finding ourselves on the dancefloor of an unclear tomorrow; the cast, drunk on stupefied contemporary media, are adorned in performative adulthoods.
Images are conversation; collage is time travel and reincarnation.
Within the chaos and cringe of ubiquitous excess, hope and fun can be found.
Panacea at Waterford Gallery of Art
17th-19th July 2024
Panacea was a three-day contemporary painting pop-up group exhibition I recently organised in, probably most favourite place in the world, The Waterford Gallery of Art. Luke Currall
Presenting the work of seven artists, each exploring individual narratives and shared experiences through the medium of paint. Together, the work offers a whimsical interplay between the physical and intangible elements that often permeate daily life.
Artists exhibiting were Alison Boyle, Suzanne Buggy, Julie Cusack, Teresa Ellen Fitzgerald, Caoilfhionn Hanton, Oonagh Latchford, and Maurice Quillinan.
This experience was so fabulous! We saw over 150 attendees at the opening night, and listened to great music from the lovely Jacqui Kelleher. I learned quite a bit about managing admin, curating and distributing exhibition communications, hosting, invigilating the exhibition and handling financial transactions. I’d do it all again, and I can’t wait to be involved in the next pooling together of such great work!
